America should be a Salad so that we can identify everyone's culture. In doing so we will show that we are accepting of other cultures. We want to embrace everyone's individuality. Through the readings we have seen that America has work to do. In America we tend to want everyone to be the same, but if we were the same, there would not be any individuality which is what makes up America. The books and articles that we have been given to read have helped us understand what the Latino population has gone through. It helped us see what needs to be done to make America more of a salad.
